Obituary for Paul Ray Watson

Paul Ray Watson age 72, of Oneida, Tennessee, departed this life on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida, Tennessee. He was born July 16, 1946 in Oneida, Tennessee to the late Thomas Edson Watson and Sarah Elizabeth Roe Watson. He was a member of the Foster Crossroads Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, David Watson, Thomas Watson and John Hubert Watson; sister, Lois Boyatt; special friends, John A. Jeffers and Wayne Rogers.

He is survived by his children, Gail Shelley, Paula Soard and Ella Mullis and husband Cody; (9) grandchildren, Chris Honeycutt, Holly Polly and husband J. L., Tressa Soard, Billy Shelley, Jami Soard, P. J. and Raven Mullis, Bethany & Jeremy Byrd; (2) great grandchildren, Gabriel Reed and Xavier Honeycutt; sisters, Alma Ruth Pike of Knoxville and Mary Alice Miller; special lifelong friend, Eva Thomas; best friend, Jim Jeffers, special friends, Dudley and Keith Crabtree; several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 12:00 Noon until time of funeral service at 2:00 P.M., Friday Afternoon, September 14, 2018 in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Oneida with Bro. Don Kidd and Bro. Jeff Boyatt officiating. Burial will follow in the Marcum Kidd Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida is in charge of the arrangements for the family of Paul Ray Watson.
