Obituary for Buster Delone Stonecipher

Buster Delone Stonecipher, age 83, of Huntsville Tennessee, departed this life on April 14, 2018, at Tennova North Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. Buster was born March 17, 1935, to the late Lindsay and Amy Thompson Stonecipher.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law Ray and Virginia Orick, and Grandson Kiel Delone Stonecipher.

He was of the Baptist faith, and a member of First Baptist Church in Huntsville, Tennessee. He was retired from General Motors in Norwood, Ohio after 28 years of service. He served in the United States Army from May 1954 until September 1956. He was a member of 671 Melrose Masonic Lodge since 1974.

He is survived by his loving wife Janet Sue Orick Stonecipher, of 60 years, Children; Curtis Delone Stonecipher, Lisa Denise Stonecipher, Gwendolyn Nina Stonecipher, Douglas Ray Stonecipher, and wife Gail all of Huntsville, Grandchildren; Nicholas Belleman and wife Lisa, Gideon Stonecipher, Janet Cobb, Codey Tipton, Katie Stonecipher, Icie Cobb, Dillon Stonecipher and wife Hali, and Kenny Lee Mullins II, Great Grandchildren; Pharizina, August, Addie, Brighton, Liberty, Ava, Grayer and Branson.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 P.M. until time of funeral services at 8:00 P.M. Tuesday April 17, 2018 in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Huntsville Tennessee, with Brother Kevin Terry Officiating. Music will be provided by his Grandchildren: Icie Cobb, Janet Cobb, Katie Stonecipher, and Mike Hamby, and Kerrie Chitwood. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday morning, 11:00 A.M. April 18, 2018 in the Black Creek Cross Roads Cemetery. With Full Military Honors provided by American Legion post #136.
Pallbearers include: Curtis Stonecipher, Douglas Stonecipher, Nicholas Belleman, Gideon Stonecipher, Codey Tipton, Dillon Stonecipher, and Kenny Lee Mullins II.
