Obituary for Joseph Joe Sexton

Joseph “Joe” Garland Sexton age 54, departed this life on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at the Huntsville Manor Nursing & Rehab. He was born August 15, 1963 in Oneida, Tennessee, to the late Charles “Buster” Sexton and Berta Helen Sexton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vanessa Hammonds Sexton; sister, Fayrene Sexton; brothers-in-law, Rex Newport, Gary Litton and James Sexton.

He is survived by his beloved children, Tamera and Graig Sexton, Megan and Davin, Jeremiah & Brittney Sexton; (6) grandchildren, Hunter, Jaxson, Ryan, Andrew, Ava Leigh and Liam; sisters and brothers, Roseanna and Harold Jeffers, Sarah Newport, Teresa & Bethel Blevins, Linda Litton and David Sexton; many, many other family and friends, to many to mention, but he loved them all.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 11:00 A.M., until time of funeral service at 1:00 P.M., Friday Afternoon, April 13, 2018, in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Huntsville with Bro. Joey Zachary officiating. Music will be provided by the family. Burial will follow in the Charles E. Sexton Family Cemetery in the Mt. View Community.

Pallbearers will be, Hunter, Ryan, Davin, Jeremiah, Andrew and Shawn.

Honorary pallbearers will be, Adam, Mike, Jeff Litton and Daniel Jeffers.
