Obituary for Rose Vivian Krahn

Rose Vivian Veer Krahn age 91, of Helenwood, Tennessee, departed this life on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Park West Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was born January 14, 1927 in Langdon, North Dakota to the late Abe Veer and Helen Penner Veer.

Mrs. Krahn was a member of the First Baptist Church in Huntsville. She was a former board member for the Mid County Fire Dept., member of the Scott County Fair Association, member of the WMU, a Sunday School Teacher, Mother of the year, Family Community and Education organization, and she was also a baker and cake decorator.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Krahn; sons, James Krahn, Charles Krahn and Donnie Krahn; brothers, Edwin Veer and Alden Veer; sisters-in-laws, Kathy Veer, Doris Veer, Melinda Veer and Valdeen Veer; son-in-law, Larry Veer and granddaughters, Sydney Krahn and Pam Stephens; brother-in-law, Kin Turner.

She is survived by her children, Faye Veer, William Krahn and wife Diana, Daryl Krahn and wife Pauline, Lanette Elder and husband Jimmy, David Krahn, Valerie Williams and husband Ted, Larry Krahn , LeEtta Boyatt and husband Gary, Lyle Krahn and wife Robin and Tommy Krahn ; (25) grandchildren; (33) great grandchildren; (3) great great grandchildren; brothers, Ted Veer, Arlie Veer and wife Betty, Ronnie Veer; sister, Eileen Turner; daughters-in-law, Jeanetta Krahn and Mary Krahn; sister-in-law, Carol Veer; several nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00 P.M., until 8:00 P.M., Friday Evening, March 9, 2018 in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Huntsville, Tennessee. Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday Morning, March 10, 2018, at the First Baptist Church in Huntsville with Bro. Kevin Terry, Bro. Gary Boyatt, Bro. Ted Veer, and Bro. David Acres officiating. Music will be provided by The Allen Family. Burial will follow in the Potter Cemetery in Huntsville.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Marc Boyatt, Matt Boyatt, Sam Krahn, Billy Williams, Justin Williams, Kable Krahn, Kyle Krahn, Nathan Krahn, Daryn Veer, Scott Krahn, Dale Krahn and Jacob Steelman.

Donations can be made in memory of Rose Krahn to First Baptist Church of Huntsville or to any missionary of your choice.

Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville is in charge of the arrangements for the family of Rose Vivian Veer Krahn.
