Obituary for Clinton "Dude" Butler

Clinton “Dude” Butler age 79, of the Cherry Fork community, departed this life on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Tennova North Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was born December 5, 1937 in Scott County, Tennessee to the late Lemuel West and Elsie Butler. He was a member of the Hilltop Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by niece, Maudie Sexton and infant niece, Sharon Rose; sister, Roberta Jeffers; brothers, Thelbert Butler and wife Ella Mae, Mac Arthur Butler.

He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Butler; daughter, Judy West and husband Curtis; brothers-in-law, Travis Jeffers, Sam Foster and wife Brenda; niece, Carol Phillips and husband Curtis; sister-in-law, Jean Thorne; many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral service at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 25, 2017 in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Oneida with Bro. Tony Lowe and Bro. Paul Foster officiating. Music will be provided by Nanette Duncan and JoAnn Gibson. Burial will follow in the Foster Cemetery in Oneida, Tennessee.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Foster, Taylor Foster, Wade Thorne, Nicholas Thorne, Robin Carroll and Colten Perkins.

Honorary pallbearers will be, Creston Perkins and Cirston Perkins.

Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida is in charge of the arrangements for the family of Clinton “Dude” Butler.
