Obituary for James Edward "Eddy" Terry

James Edward “Eddy” Terry age 63, of the Winona Community, departed this life on Friday, October 6, 2017, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born January 22, 1954, in Oneida, Tennessee, to the late Flora Phillips Terry. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Huntsville.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Joe Terry; father-in-law, Berlie Williams.

He is survived by his wife of over 45 years, Diane Williams Terry; children, James Heith Terry, Blake Terry and wife Teshuah; grandchild, Makayla Terry; brothers, Mark Terry and wife Mary, Luther “Wade” Terry, Lonas Terry and wife Phyllis, Roger Terry and wife Debbie; mother-in-law, Joyce Williams; brother-in-law, Teddy Williams and wife Valerie; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 12:00 noon until time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday Afternoon, October 11, 2017, at the First Baptist Church of Huntsville with Bro. Kevin Terry officiating. Music will be provided by Mike Hamby and Kerri Chitwood. Burial will follow in the Williams Family Cemetery in the Winona Community.

Pallbearers will be Lamance Bryant, Jan Byrd, Tommy Wright, Mike Hamby, Kevin Acres, Ted Williams, Heith Terry and Blake Terry.
