Obituary for Wilma Hamby

Mrs. Wilma Phyllis Hamby, age 72, of Powell, TN, formerly of Scott County, passed away at her home on Friday, October 19, 2018. She was born in Scott County on May 20, 1946. She was the daughter of the late Mr & Mrs. Willie Hill. Phyllis enjoyed going to church and loved the Lord.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Steve Hamby; her son, Steve (Bub) Hamby; sisters, Carol Kinta, Rennie Cordell, Velma Wilson, Evelyn E. Step, and Amanda Adkins; and one brother, Walter Musgrove.

She is survived by her children, Pam Smith of Powell, TN, Scott Hamby of Oneida, Lena (Babe) Anderson and husband Bo of the Paint Rock Community, Sharlene Capley and husband Shane of Lake City, TN, Regina Henry and husband Orvil, and Jennifer Roysdon all of Oneida; one brother, Roger Hill; grandchildren, April Hawn, Tyler and Brandon Hamby, Travis Selvidge, Charles and Jacklyn Anderson, Carrie Anderson, Jackie West, Dylan and Felicia Capley, Desirae and Baleigh Roysdon, Jordan, Caleb, and Caiden Henry; great grandchildren, Jaya and Nathan West, Austin and Alexis Selvidge; and a special friend Sigle Phillips of Helenwood

Mrs. Hamby’s funeral will be conducted on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at 3:00 P. M. in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Oneida with Bro. Rick Wilson officiating. Music will be provided by Allen and Diane Carson, and Robert Keffer. Burial will follow in the
Foster Crossroads Cemetery.

Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.

Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida is in charge of final arrangements for Mrs. Wilma Phyllis Hamby.
