Obituary for Ruby Keeton

Ruby G. Keeton, age 97, departed this life on Thursday, November 23, 2017, at Shannondale Healthcare Facility in Knoxville, TN. She was born February 19, 1920 in Fentress County, Tennessee to the late Sie Terry and Rosie Moore Terry. She was a member of the Helenwood Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Keeton; brothers, Dewey, Henry, Carly and Jake Terry; sisters, Ellen West, Edna West, Bertha Williams, Vickie Reed, Juanita Claxton and Verna Mae Phillips.

She is survived by special nieces, Jean Graham, Ruby Gail Stevens and husband Jerry, who was a very special devoted nephew, all of Knoxville, Tennessee, Fran Grooms and John of Helenwood, Tennessee; special sister-in-law, Kathleen Settles and family of Aurora, Indiana; numerous, nieces, nephews and extended family; and special friends, Betty Strunk and Fay Bayles. A special thank you to Shannondale Healthcare for the excellent care provided to Ruby over the last 8 years.

The Keeton family will receive friends for visitation from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon, November 26, 2017, in the chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Huntsville, Tennessee. Graveside service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. in the Daniel Memorial Gardens in Helenwood, Tennessee with Bro. David West. Music will be provided by Brenda West.

Serving as pallbearers will be family.

Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville is in charge of the arrangements for the family of Ruby Keeton.
