Obituary for Edith Imogene Maney

Mrs. Edith Imogene Dockery Maney, age 90, departed this life on Monday, January 29, 2018, at North Knoxville Medical Center in Powell, TN. Born September 30, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Marion Dockery and Lavada Wrapper Dockery. She was a member of the Eastern Star Sunshine Chapter 279 and she was of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Earnest Maney; two sons, Ronny Maney and Chris Maney; two grandsons, Jeff Maney and Casedy McTaggert; two daughters-in-law, Sara Maney and Mary Maney.

Survivors include her daughter, Teresa Arms and husband Steve; sons, Michael Maney and wife Joan, Nolan Maney and wife Judy, David Maney and Keith Maney; special nephew, Rick and Gerald Dockery; fourteen grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing

The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 31. 2018, in the chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Hunstville.

Funeral service will be on Thursday, February 1, 2018, at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Huntsville with Bro. Kermit Phillips and Bro David Troxel officiating. Music will be provided by Michael and Joan Maney. Burial will follow in the Black Creek Crossroads Cemetery in Robbins, Tennessee.

Pallbearers will be family.

Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville is in charge of final arrangements for Mrs. Edith Imogene Dockery Maney.
