Obituary for Curtis King

Curtis King, age 77, of Oneida, Tennessee, departed this life on Sunday, March 11, 2018, at Select Specialty Hospital in Powell, Tennessee. He was born December 18, 1940, in Helenwood, Tennessee, to the late Robert King and Lula Stephens King. He attended Leatherwood Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Johnny King, Delmer King, Curley Ray King; sister, Kathrean King; granddaughter, Olivia Young.

He is survived by his wife, Etta King; son, Dewayne King and wife Katrina; daughters, Joyce Crabtree and husband James (Buddy), Melinda Kay Young and husband David all of Oneida, Tennessee; (8) grandchildren, Crystal Byrge and husband Eric, Josh Newport and fiancé Jennifer, Kayla Crabtree, Tiffany Crabtree, Shelly King, Betty Campbell and husband Jon, Justin Young and wife Alisha, and Samantha Williams and husband Travis; (6) great grandchildren, Damean, Olivia, Blake, Owen, Khloe, and Dylan; sister, Hazel Harness; as well as several nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 12:00 Noon until time of funeral service at 2:00 P.M., Thursday Afternoon, March 15, 2018 in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Oneida with Bro. Bradley Kidd & Joey Zachary officiating. Music will be provided by Samantha and Travis Williams, and Arnold and Lloyd Stephens. Burial will follow in the Daniel Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Buddy Crabtree, Mike Young, Josh Newport, Justin Young, Steve Young, Eric Byrge, Jon Campbell and Matt Jones.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Arnold Stephens and Lloyd Stephens.

Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida is in charge of the arrangements for the family of Curtis King.
